Who are we ?

We are a small group of Spirit filled Christians who believe that God works through Prayer. We have no special qualities of our own except a hunger to seek God's face and see people saved. We all live in close proximity to Warrington, a town in the northwest of England. We are not a part of any denomination and believe that prayer is a ministry for every believer regardless of their background.

Why serve God in prayer?

God gave a vision to a lady known to us in St Helens, Merseyside. The vision was of row after row after row after row of angels standing in lines, column after column of them. One angel said to the lady "they are waiting for Christians to pray". When we pray we release the power of God into that given situation. Over the course of 2008 God has spoken many words to us regarding His will for the future. He has given us enough information for us to be able to pray directly into the will of God with faith to believe that He who made the promise is able to keep it. One preceding event that God used to lead us to pray happened in the summer of 2008. God had stirred us up with an incredible hunger for God, and He had repeatedly given the word to "Get Ready". He called us to corporatley do a three week Daniel fast (Water, fruit and vegetables), at the end of this three weeks God spoke and declared that revival is coming. If we hadn't been through the previous three weeks we would never have had the faith to receive the word as truth. Below is a summary of what God has spoken in order for us to begin Hope.

There is no greater power than believing prayer, the great need is for believers to pray.

• God has said "Get Ready", therefore;
• It is time to seek God. To have as much of God as He is willing to give.
• It is time to seek the LORD for personal holiness.
• It is time to seek the LORD so that we will become a channel through whom God can move and be a blessing to many people.
• It is time to seek the LORD until He rains righteousness upon us.
• it is time to seek the LORD so that He will pour out His Spirit on our offspring (Isaiah 44:3).
• It is time to seek the LORD for the lost.
• It is time to lay aside legitimate hobbies and pastimes to seek His face.
• It is time for us to live and walk as the children of God.

How did God start Hope?

I Steve was given a word to go to Romania for seven days and pray, if I did then God would speak to me. I was given no more information than that. My response was clear “God I have no money, if this is you then please provide for this, and please be specific because I need money for other things too”. Within a day or two a lady from church came to me and said that God had told her to pay for me to go to Romania. This was enough for me and I went in Nov 2008.  God spoke more clearly to me about our future than ever before.  God has been telling us that we would be commissioned into ministry full time for a while. About two and a half months or so ago God told us to stop all work and live by faith again (financially), and around the same time a visiting minister, a real mature man of God prophesied that we were to be set aside for God's service and that He was putting us into ministry soon. At that time we were anointed in front of our church for a ministry that we didn't know about, what a strange experience. 

Seven years ago God gave us a clear vision to start a House of Prayer when we were living in Liverpool. It wasn’t for that time and we have since had to see the vision die completely. A few months ago a lady in our church stood up and read Isaiah 56:7 which was the verse God gave us six years ago. She also said that God has not forgotten what He said to you, the vision is not dead, it will come once again. This we knew was the word of God as she couldn’t possibly have known about our past word, we didn’t even go to the same church.

In that same meeting God told me to go to Romania and seek Him for seven days and He would reveal Himself and His purposes to me on the seventh day. To cut a long story short, on the seventh day I went into a church and they too had a House of Prayer which was identical to my vision. God said to turn around and I saw a poster with the same verse that God had given to me Isaiah 56:7. I prayed and asked God to reveal His will, and the floodgates were opened. I have never had a time of revelation like it before. I received so many words about the House of Prayer and the end times. The words and confirmations have not stopped since.   

God has given several visions, a few prophesies, a whole load of scripture verses, some initially unwanted and un sought after, but all instructing us to create a House of Prayer ministry in the place where He has put us. We believe that Christians all over the place are being called out from worldliness to seek God on an unprecedented level. We have seen firsthand that this vision is not specifically for us, we are not anything special at all, but we are just blessed in the same way as everybody else. God has planted these prayer houses all over the world. We believe that one service on a Sunday and one in the week with little else in the pursuit of Holiness will not suffice in the time that is to come. We are starting humbly now with around four hours a day, made up of a mixture of regular prayer, fellowship, breaking of bread, personal listening to God time and praise and worship. We believe as God increases the ministry we will become a 24/7 prayer house. The ministry is called Hope which God showed in a vision. The first three letters are white which is symbolic of the “House of Prayer” part and its pursuit of Holiness and God in general. The Last letter "e" will be for England but it is to be orange in colour which symbolises Fire from the Holy Spirit. We believe that we have heard from God and as it says in 2 Chron 7:14 "if my people, who belong to me, humble themselves, pray, seek to please me, and repudiate their sinful practises, then I will respond from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land."  The first part of Hope ministry will be to seek God and wait for power to come from on high, then we will on His instruction take this to the people and in a time of great darkness in the end times our corporate lives of Holiness will become a light shining in the wilderness showing the people the way to salvation. We feel we (Christians corporately) are to seek Holiness like possibly no one ever has before.

We do still believe Hope will be used in other countries but that God requires this fruit to come from home first.

Your prayers are deeply needed and we feel completely inadequate in this work. We want God fruit not good fruit, God ideas not good ideas.
