In early 2010 Hope are starting to offer internships for people of all ages

The Internship is designed to be a season of consecration unto the Lord.

It is a six-month program. In this program we aim to partner with the Holy Spirit as He orchestrates the end-time prayer movement across the earth, by equipping this generation in the place of prayer, fasting, praise and worship, and evangelism. Through the Internship, we believe God to impart the gifts of His Holy Spirit and release full-time intercessors/servants into service, both here in St Helens and around the world.

When God Told Joshua how he was going to take him into the Promised Land. Joshua went to the people and told them to consecrate themselves for tomorrow God would perform amazing deeds in their midst.  At Hope we believe in the call to “Get Ready”, and to “Watch and Pray”.  We know there is a great tribulation coming, however God has also revealed to us that revival is coming. God has spoken to us and requires us to fulfil the conditions laid down in 2Chronicles 7:14If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  All over the UK Gods people are starting to pray.  Will you pick up the mantel and put off this world in order to seek God, and His equipping?

What will I be doing?

You will be serving full time in the house of prayer and its ministry activity.

This will consist of  :

  • Two “Prayer Watches” per day, one from 10am – 12pm, and one from 8pm until God says stop (Usually two to three hours). These are unstructured times of Prayer, Intercession, Praise, Worship, listening to God, Prophesying etc, led by the Holy Spirit.

  • Quiet time.  It is important to balance corporate prayer with closet prayer and time alone with God.  Each intern will develop a personal walk with God that includes an hour bible reading/study and an hour’s prayer.

  • Evangelism. Currently Hope is going into the streets of the town centre for two hours, three days a week.  As God increases the workers this will increase to five days a week Monday to Friday.

A typical week will consist of five days Monday to Friday, Eight Hours a day. Structured hours will be Prayer Watch 10 till 12 followed by evangelism roughly two hours. There will then be a break from mid afternoon till 8 when we resume for the final prayer watch.  At your leading we request that you find two more hours at whatever time to spend in quiet time with the LORD.

What does it cost?

Hope does not charge anything for the internship, it’s free.  We are a faith based mission and we trust God for our finances.  You will be required to trust God for your own finances/sponsorship.  Accommodation can be arranged for people however this will need to be paid for by the intern.
